You can access your My Barchart Watchlists directly within Barchart Excel by clicking on the Watchlist icon in the ribbon.

 

Once selected the Insert Watchlist dialogue will display with all of your My Barchart.com account’s Watchlists.

Here you can select the Data Type (Intraday or End of Day), Data Updates (Dynamic or Static), and any fields. Once all sections have been made, click Insert and your Watchlist will populate in Excel.

Watchlist EOD Prices by Date

When viewing the Watchlist Dialogue, if End of Day is selected a Date Picker will display allowing you to pull historical data for a Watchlist as of a selected date.

(Note: only equities, futures contracts and Forex can have historical data displayed with this feature. The only historical pricing data available is O, H, L, C, Change, %Change, Volume and Open Interest).

 

Watchlist Removal

Watchlists inserted into a worksheet can be quickly removed by highlighting the Watchlist anchor cell, Clicking on the Watchlist icon and selecting the Clear button.
