Seasonal
A seasonality chart allows you to compare multiple futures contracts, whether active or expired, on the same time series. This allows you to analyze seasonal patterns across the same calendar period. Add a Seasonal Chart by clicking on Chart in the main toolbar and selecting Seasonal.
Change the seasonal chart’s underlying future by entering the futures contract in the search for symbol.
Plot the seasonal of an expression by clicking on the f(x) button.
The chart’s default period is Daily. You can change this aggregation by clicking on Daily and selecting your preferred time frame.
The chart displays 3 years back (and an average) of contracts by default. You can change the amount of contracts displayed by clicking on the years back drop down.
Contract years and the average can be ‘hidden’ by clicking on the commodity and expiration in the upper left corner of the chart. This will pull up the Settings Dialogue where you can used the radio buttons to remove the year or average.
Use the custom date range (calendar icon) to view a specific in time.
Apply a number of drawing tools by clicking on Draw.
Share the URL or tweet the chart by clicking on the share button (camera icon).
Change the global default scale to percent change by clicking on the '%' button.
Click on the ‘cog wheel’ to view the Settings dialogue where you can remove drawing tools, hide contracts/averages and customize the line colors.
