A forward curve is a specialized chart used to visualize the future expectation of price for a commodity. The plot is a calculation showing the current price against the contract's expiration date. The forward curve will plot each each expiration for the commodity and its' corresponding last price.

cmdtyView allows the user to plot the current forward curve against a previous day’s curve using the Curves drop down.

The curve can be changed by entering in a different symbol in the search for symbol box located in the top right corner of the page. By right clicking on the chart, you can add another curve, remove crosshairs, hide the tool tip, and share the chart.
