The quoteboard table consists of rows of instruments with columns of customizable fields displaying data for each instrument.

Quoteboard Symbol Entry and Removal

Symbols can be entered through the Symbol Search and fields can updated through the Columns dropdown menu in the upper right corner of the table.

You can also insert a symbol directly into a blank row in the quoteboard by double clicking in the Symbol cell of the row and entering the symbol.

You can remove symbols through the right click context menu and selecting the Row > Delete Row option.

Symbols can also be deleted in the symbol browser dialogue.

Quoteboard Reorder

By left clicking on a row in a quoteboard, you can drag and drop the the entire row into a new position.

Quoteboard Title

The quoteboard title will display as a tab. clicking in the tab will will allow you up change the title of the quoteboard.

You can also right click on the tab and rename, clone (create replica) and delete using the context menu.

Title Bar Buttons

In the upper right corner of the quoteboard page you will find buttons to link, open in a new window, maximize and close out a quoteboad.

Linking

Panel linking is a unique feature to the application, that allows you to link multiple panels on any one workspace to one specific symbol. If you change the symbol in one of a series of linked panels, it changes the symbol in ALL linked panels. Click on the ‘chain’ icon to select a linked color. Repeat the same process for another panel in the workspace like a chart (below). Now, any symbol highlighted/selected in the quoteboard will be plotted in the chart.

To remove the link, simply click back on the ‘chain’ icon and select the ‘Unlinked’ option.

Open a New Window

By clicking on the ‘window’ icon the quoteboard will be popped out to its own window where it can be moved to another monitor.

The newly opened window can be docked back into the main application by clicking on the ‘window’ icon.

Maximize

When two or more panels are inserted in a workspace, you can maximize a quoteboard (or any panel) by clicking on the ‘full-screen’ icon.

To restore to the original size once maximized, click on the ‘full-screen’ icon again.

Close

To close out a quoteboard (or any panel) click on the 'x' button in the upper right hand corner of the panel.

Context Menu

By right clicking on a symbol in a quoteboard, a context menu will display with four selections: Launch, Rows, Alerts and Highlight.

Launch

Hovering over ‘Launch’ will populate a waterfall menu of various panels that can be launched that will used the right clicked symbol as the default.

By selecting Time & Sales, for instance, a Time & Sales panel will automatically be added to the workspace with tick data for the symbol selected as default (ZCN23 below).

Rows

Rows will bring up various actions to customize the quoteboard’s appearance.

Row Separators will allow you enter in a new row with header or title and a blank row will insert an empty row.

Alerts

Clicking on Alerts will quickly pull the Price Alerts modal where you can create a alert for the selected symbol.

Highlight

The Highlight option will shade the row a selected color for quick visual recognition.

You can remove the highlight by pulling up the context menu again and clicking on the Remove Highlight option.
