Once the CQG enabled account is created, you can then login using the credentials provided by the FCM/broker to execute futures trades in cmdtyView. Through the Settings (cog wheel) located in the main toolbar of cmdtyView, click on ‘Configure Trading & Hedging.'

After entering in the FCM provided username and password, select the type of account you are accessing. cmdtyView supports paper trading, CQG simulated trading, CQG live trading, hedging simulated and hedging live accounts. For live futures trading only, selected the ‘Live Trading’ option.

Once entered, click Connect and you will be prompted to sign Barchart’s Electronic Trading Application Terms of Use.

After accepting the terms, the application will automatically sync your account and a connected status will appear.

cmdtyView allows you to login to multiple account types (live trading, simulated trading, hedging) at one time Once configured, all trading accounts will display in the "Account" drop down in all order entry interfaces. This allows you to select the proper trading account to view positions or make trades.
