A seasonality chart allows you to compare multiple futures contracts, whether active or expired, on the same time series.  This allows you to analyze seasonal patterns across the same calendar period. In the example below, the active 2019 March corn contract is compared against the three previously expired contracts. Contract expiration dates appear at the top of the chart.

Add a Seasonal Chart by clicking on Chart in the main toolbar and selecting Seasonal.

Change the seasonal chart’s underlying future by entering the futures contract in the search for symbol.

Plot the seasonal of an expression by clicking on the f(x) button.

The chart’s default period is Daily. You can change this aggregation by clicking on Daily and selecting your preferred time frame.

The chart displays 3 years back (and an average) of contracts by default. You can change the amount of contracts displayed by clicking on the years back drop down.

Contract years and the average can be ‘hidden’ by clicking on the commodity and expiration in the upper right left corner of the page.
