Livestock Crush

The Livestock Crush panel seeks to calculate the gross margin of a typical feedlot operation by calculating the spread between input costs and the output sale price. For a typical feedlot, the two primary inputs are feeder cattle and corn while the output is live cattle, which are sent to market once the feeding process ends. This panel can be added to a workspace by clicking on More in the main toolbar and selecting Livestock Crush in the Calcs section.

The ratios of the input variables can be customized by clicking on the Configure Calculation button in the upper right corner of the panel.
