We do a fair amount of logging for Barchart for Excel and the first step in the troubleshooting process should always be to grab the log files and send them over to our support crew at real-time@barchart.com.

The log files are located in C:\Users\your_user_name\AppData\Roaming\Barchart\Barchart Excel where ‘your_user_name’ is the name of the local user of the PC where you’re grabbing the log files from.

The aforementioned directory is hidden by default and will need to be unhidden by going to your Control Panel and selecting the option to Show all Files and Folders.
